Previously, it was a whole video editor. This new version simply generates a video from a text or a web page. It's not an AI generator, it's a basic App, but it's completely free.

If you know of an AI video generator able to create today an HD or even 4K video without duration restrictions, please share the link!
 
Just FYI, there is no such thing at present. Current best in class is 25 frames, via SDXL text to video, resolution is bad, and you'd need to build a stretch and interpolate function on top of it to get a few seconds.

If you'd like to get started with the process of learning about research paper based text2video generation, I'd start with this, an easy installation GUI for testing various available implementations of the current tech spectrum in that area. It can help to familiarize you with the current state of the art, and then you can hybrid code that works for your applications from github, once you've gained an understanding of what each available codebase offers relative to your goals.
