watch Space Trucker Bruce Preview

This is the first preview for my independent film Space Trucker Bruce. It will be released this summer and will be shown in select independent film theaters as well as available on-demand. I have been making this for the last 5 years. It has a budget of around $10,000. I am the writer, director, actor, editor, set builder, 3D modeler, etc.. Hey, Im about to watch it.. but man this has been a work for quite a while now.. congrats on finishing (mostly!) Now I go to watch the preview..
 
I want to see this. Is the story at all related to the original "Space Truckers" ... I love that concept of the whole regular jobs still exist in space sub genre of sci fi. Even have pork related hauling, although that one was "Square Pigs" which were bred to be easier to pack and ship.
 
There are some wonderfully cheezy sets in there, but some shots and lighting that have some amazing production value. When is it out, where can I get a copy?
 
pure delicious cheese... not the cheep cheese from a can, not at all, good premium cheese like the kind you only buy around the holidays.

I think the over smooth keying in the intro isnt good though, having a bad key would fit the low budget style, but over smoothing it like that just looks.. strange. and not like an artifact of low budget... you know what I mean?? ..
 
I had some keying issues and decided that this preview wasn't as important as getting the movie done. The movie keying will be better. This is not related to the 1998 Space Truckers movie. I have not seen that but I heard about the square pigs after writing the script. It's a funny coincidence. I think that is the only similarity though.
 
Space Trucker Bruce is a cheezey, low budget piece of work that I will be happy to support ! Rock on Bruce

Preview is straight-up about what kind of film to expect. I'm anticipating ridiculousness, and lots of it. :cool:

Yes Space Trucker Bruce is a comedy. It's low budget makes it a bit cheesy but in a good way. There is a fair amount of humor but it centers around a real story. It is not a spoof movie like Airplane (although I love that movie).
