I was just hitin the crackbook pipe when I saw this photo..

I could not take my eyes of those two little "air horn" looking widgets on the top of the camera.. what the heck were those? I had to know!

I took some guesses at what the could be and discovered that they are this thing..

Ultrasonic sonar measuring devices..

Yah, pretty much all studio cameras have those now. Also, camera feeds to video village (or anywhere, really) are all wireless video now.

The most unusual thing in that second pic is the film magazine! I've only seen film cameras used on one film, and one tv show (and that was for a special 100th episode), in the past year.

Are any of the hi-end cameras using that "focus-in-post" technology yet?
