Slip slide in After Effects?

Anyone know how to slip\slide footage in after effects? Can it even be done? Maybe only slipslide of precomps.. I dont know..

Do you mean by dragging the footage layer bars? Same thing can be done by click-dragging through the in or out numbers.

ah dang think I got it in AE..

way simple.. figured it was..

drop a clip on the time line
edit the in and out points

if you click between the in and out points you can drag the clip around, forward and backward on the time line.. ( obvious)

if you click on the footage OUTSIDE the start and end points, you can "slip" the footage forward or backwards by frames without changing the length or position of the in \ out points..

EDIT: officially this is a slide edit. A slip edit is completely different
