Rule Of Thirds In camera?

Hi,

I was studying composition earlier in a bit more in detail and learned a lot more about the rule of thirds. This got me wondering, is there anyway of getting the rule of thirds grid/lines on the viewfinder? Say for example, the 550D? Or is there any software you can download that does this?

If you install Magic Lantern, you can also add pretty much any kind of overlay you want. It comes with several in the package, as well... from that spiral composition pattern to guidelines for shooting various aspect ratios. Or make your own.

That sounds pretty cool. I've heard a lot of good things about Magic Lantern but don't know if I'll install it when I get my 550D. Will look into it :)
