I liked him in the 1970's mini-series, "Shogun".

Yup. Pretty cool guy: Dr. Kildare. Maybe somebody like Amazon will pick up the old TV series to sit beside Perry Mason and other good stuff from this golden age.

My TV knowledge is very limited. I know Lew Ayres as Dr. Kildare. Never knew there was a TV series.
