Question: Budget for stock footage shoot

You'll have to excuse MY ignorance, but what equipment do you need to rent?? It seems most of your footage would be of "outside" stuff. So are you renting lighting gear and that sort of thing. If so, why? Not asking in an acusatory(ms) fashion, I just don't know.
1. What vehicles are you renting?
2. How big is the crew?
3. Are they all traveling?
4. What's your budget for food? (6 weeks worth)
5. What is the total mileage you plan to travel?
6. How many hours per day are you going to be shooting?
Those are some quick questions I have.
