editing Putting 3d Tank m1 in your scene.

Here I utilized boujou 2d3d 4.0.1 matchmoving and tracking systems over live action footage to create null objects then exported for 3ds max. In 3ds max 2011 I then set up my lighting and built and animated a cgi 3d tank. The matchmoving enabled me to stick my 3d element to the footage with a realisitc feel. The lighting allowed the proper shadowing for depth. I then rendered the tank traked footage as a png and imported it into After Effects where I finished the compositing of the footage and color correcting as hot infared nightvision.

Thanks for watching. I also have created helicopters etc. If you would like to ask questions etc. you can like my page and I will create tutorials etc.

Thanks

Matt,
Thats cool, did you do the model completely yourself? Its a bit out of scale.. it should be about 7 feet tall and 12 feet wide, your camera would have to be 8 or 9 feet of the ground to see the top of the turret and it would completely fill your drive way.. so its a subcompact baby tank.. looks pefect otherwise..

What is key to getting good track-able footage? Thats my hard part..
