Why don't you cut out the middle man and just call it 'Autumn Films'?

thanks!! yea that is EXACTLY what i wanted people to think. i see the name as the inbetween time period when the trees start to change colors. its like we're watching summer and all the memories slowly fade away.

The name conjures a very definite image for me, a very specific feeling of missed opportunity when one realizes that summer is over and you didn't do all the things you said you do back in May. And that's pretty awesome when two words can do that. I shall look forward to the first Faded Summer Film!

i would probably turn it around to 'impending fall films', or maybe 'a fading light production'
or 'summer blues pictures'. it should have a meaning behind it, an ethos, like my own 'last sunset films', if you have a dream then you should pursue it because you never know when your last sunset will be.

"Faded Summer Films" is nice.
I've long thought that window of time between the full hurah of summer and that first smell of fall was a peculiar period.
I'd edge any visuals more toward the summer spectrum than the fall, though.
Get a August's sun 'burnt' sunflower or something a week or two past it's glory.
Something with lingering beauty, like a fit and trim former runway model - in her sixties.
