Hey guys, I thought it would be cool if we would all post random loglines on the same thread. They can be from completed original scripts, or just random loglines you just thought of.
I will start with one from my original script called Tigers in Suburbia. Message me if you want more information on the story.



Two teenage twin brothers accidentally murder a gang member, unleashing the fury of a local gang, the New York Mafia, and a sadistic assassin upon a suburban town.

Cyborgs, Amazons, and Gods come together against a common enemy.

When Amazon soldiers are kidnapped to be used as game for hunters on another planet, the Black Ops Special Forces Cyborgs of the soldiers' military is sent by their government to rescue them. Among the cyborgs, a darkness is growning within two of the cyborgs that becomes a lust for power to conquer all living things. This darkness is seen from the powers that be and Artemis, Godddess of the Amazons engages the cyborgs to contain this threat. Artemis encounters the source of the darkness while on the planet--Ares. The god of war sits on a throne of carnage and grows stronger with his influence over cyborgs who harbor darkness and weak-minded humans. A couple I'm "toying" with for the distant future:

Title: Hullabaloo

In post-Katrina New Orleans, Police Detective Gabrielle Le-Roux is not having a good day: she's lost a suitcase of drug money, her own coke habit is out of control, and crime boss Victor Scarasse, just returned from prison, is busy killing off all the judges in the city, and he’s gunning for her next.



Title: Angels

A mischievous and insubordinate angel is placed on "probation" in a human body, and must try to stop a young girl from committing suicide and help her regain her faith in life before he can resume his angelic form. Think "It's a Wonderful Life" crossed with "Breakfast Club."


Title: Orion

When Samantha Armstrong, the first African American woman to qualify for the Olympics in archery, returns home from college to visit her estranged and ailing father, a retired Army Captain, a gang of violent skin-heads break into their home and Samantha, a pacifist, must choose between death and picking up her bow...




Anybody steals these, I will hunt you down and TP your nose.

The one that I am currently working on is:

'When an aging art photographer lusts for his young muse he devises a plan to make a porno starring the two of them.'

I am still searching for a title. Maybe you guys can help with that.

Untitled Mockumentary

In the midst of the worst day of the World Financial Crisis, a documentary film crew are locked inside London's oldest merchant bank as the meltdown consumes not just the financial system, but the people within it.

That's my first attempt at a logline for the project. I don't hate it actually :D

I think Dreadylocks knows I'm preoccupied on Facebook in a debate right now. She's helping out. 8 Million people ditched their credit cards, according to CNN and the conservatives are fighting over the loaning practices of the banks.

Actually, while I was researching for my Snoweater script, I found I could use loads of the material for the western piece. None of the others are even treatments at this point. I do have about 100 loglines, some crazier than those I posted. lol

Modern Day, I think Dready's confusion might have had something to do with your logline being a tad too brief (it doesn't tell us much). I can see how somebody could just skip over it, cuz it's kinda closer to a tagline, than a logline.

Charles, the "Free Falling" idea is really cool. It's like "Defending Your Life", but with a serious ticking-clock.

My Craziest Logline (I've shared this concept on here before):

"The Rapture"

On the verge of seeing Earth overrun by Satan and his minions, Jesus Christ must return to judge the living and the dead, and battle the forces of evil for control of the fate of humankind.

It'd be written as an Action-Adventure. Fundamentalist Christians would love it for being an accurate depiction of the coming Apocalypse. Athiests would love it for being so absurd. Some moderate Christians might be offended by it, but hopefully, many would be able to appreciate it for what it is.

Most people should not get offended by art, and if they are then its just ignorance.

When life around the universe becomes threatened by two Amazons transformed into cyborgs who are obsessed with ruling the universe, the goddess of the Amazons appears among them to prepare three cyborgs to become the champions of humankind.

This is a story I was working on ages ago, but I haven't really done any work on it since. Thought I'd share since I'm bored and feeling horrible :D

In the distant future a pioneering virtual reality engineer finds herself double crossed and trapped in a prototype virtual world with her cop boyfriend. She must manipulate the reality in order to escape and expose her business partner before he sells the technology to corrupt politicians, all while being pursued by a program designed to kill.
