NEED FOR SUNDAY SHOOT!!!!

Hello fellow IndieTalkers!

I am reaching out to see if anyone either has or knows someone who has any of the following items either for FREE OR DIRT-CHEAP that we need for a shoot happening THIS SUNDAY, MARCH 20th, 2011:

---- Walkies with charging station
---- Slate
---- Portable generator

If there's anything you could do to help or point me in the right direction of help, I would GREATLY APPRECIATE it!!!

In Los Angeles there are several dozen places renting
walkies - not for free but for very cheap. Try SetStuff.
You are at a slight disadvantage waiting so long before
you start shopping around.

A slate can be picked up for $20/$30. I suspect you
aren't shooting double system so you can make something
to ID your shots for free.

A quiet genny is going to be a different matter. Not free
and not usually cheap, especially with no notice at all. A
key grip friend of mine owns two - would be willing to rent
it out to a friend for next to nothing. With more notice
I could have worked out a deal. Sorry. You may end up
paying full price for this because of the short notice.
