My niece the Steven Spielberg star!

Well, I say star, I mean extra. But still. She's a star in my eyes ^_^

Explanation: My amazingly talented niece finally listened to her mother (my sister) and got herself an agent, next thing we know, she's filmed 2 days as an extra in the new series Terra Nova, which is apparently executive produced by Steven Spielberg. This is her first paid acting work, as far as I know (she was in a film clip for some indie band, but I don't think she got paid for that).

I am so incredibly, immensely, indescribably proud. She's been doing drama at uni for a few years and has been involved in so many volunteer acting studios and workshops, helping other people start their careers, I'm so glad to see she's finally got something she can put on her own filmography.

I just had to share, I've been telling everyone. Seriously, could not be prouder. I think I might burst.

I posted all over facebook about it, and she commented that I was 'sweet but embarrassing, it's not really that big a deal'. I was like, 'well yes, I'm your auntie, it's my job to be embarrassing and IT IS A BIG DEAL!' lol

To answer your questions though, I have no idea. I imagine she'll be a face in the crowd, she only did 2 days of shooting.

As for whether she's hot, well, she kinda looks like me but with a 'fro and a rounder face and nose. That is as much discussion as there will be on that particular topic
