My newest Feature

Hello, just saying that i have started on my newest film and i'm very excited becuase its different, to what i've ever wrote. I mostly write about young people and gang. Although my newest film has these themes its about a young male called Jimmy who starts over in a new boarding school. He is a tough lad. but it seams that there is a dark cult in the school who call themselves "Beast's". Jimmy joins in and becomes a beast but finds out that they don't just drink and have fun there is a darker side to them, and Jimmy starts unravelling, but the Beast's wont allow Jimmy to blow them up to the police so they stage a murder where he is the key suspect. Then they tell him they can make it all go away for the price of silence.

What will he do.

Does this sound good or has it been done before and if it has can you tell me in what films so I can watch them and stay clear of those plot lines

thanks
Ben

I think it sounds cool.

As described it seems there must be similar films, but I can’t think of any off hand.
I was vaguely reminded of The Skulls http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0192614/ ,not that it’s the same thing, but maybe worth a watch.

It would be nice to have some twist or deeper implications that puts things over the top, but maybe it has one. Sounds cool though.

-Thanks-

hahah thanks, at first I thought it reminded me of THE HOLE with Keira knightly but then as I started writing more. It got better. The ending will be a twist, a very nasty one, I hope people like it. as soon as I'm finished i'm going to post it on Talentvill.com if you would liek to look at some other stuff i've wrote Growing pains can be found @
http://talentville.com/user/sub.php?id=238

and the opening of The Raw Deal can be found @
http://talentville.com/user/sub.php?id=240

both scripts are worth a look at and if you have any comments about them can you please share them with me
thanks

Sounds cool to me, but I haven't seen the Skulls, which does sound similar. Sounds totally different from Heathers, tonally and otherwise. Actually, it sounds kind of like the Firm in terms of the basic plot.

The only thing your description left me wondering about was why this character needs to take this journey--i.e. what's the ultimate point of it (e.g. betrayal versus loyalty)--but if you have that figured out, then great.

i havnt really really thought of the point, i like to think its about people being careless and playing with other peoples lives, maybe the hiarchical structure in british boarding schools. :)
