My Introduction

Hey everyone, my name is Nick and I am 16. I've always been interested in film and have always made short little videos with my old camcorder since I was about 4. Unfortunately, my high school does not have a great film program, and I've had to do my own research throughout the years. Currently, I'm working with friends on an action film, and so most of my questions in the near-future will be about that. My goal right now would be to get into USC's film school, but unfortunately that will most likely not happen ;) I know my ambitions may be a little high, but I can't really imagine doing anything other with my life than being a part of the film making process somehow.

My high school didn't have a film program at all so I
understand. I made a ton of action films with my
friends over the years. We shot one every month - and
I'm old, so we were shooting on film. You should be
making a movie every month, too!

Don't worry about getting into USC. You can have a
great career in film without going to film school at all.
