I'm going to the Short Film Corner at Cannes this year. It's my first film and this is my premier, so you can imagine how far in over my head I am.

Is a Short Film Corner survival guide? Has anyone on here been? Is anyone else going? What do I need to know before I leave, or when I get there? What should I bring with me?

I see that registration is closed for this year. At 95 euros for registration, anyone think this would be a wise venue for a simple trailer?

I've never paid to have a movie shown, but I walked around
the "Corner" when I was in Cannes three years ago. Your
movie will be shown as part of several 90 minute blocks on
TV screens in booths scattered around the showroom floor.
You can pay to have your movie shown in either a little booth
or a small screening rooms (about 20 seats). Have plenty of
cards with the movies poster and contact info to hand out.
