I have a Canon 60D in my closet and was considering using it for a feature film this summer. I understand there are better cameras, better DSLR's and better formats (BMC, RED,etc.).
Would using this camera for a serious project (distribution eventually?) be a sound idea or is foolish to attempt? Is a 1080p H.264 system, like this camera, too amateur/antiquated? Am I severely limiting my options by using an older DSLR or am I worrying about nothing? I would like to use this camera- I've figured it out long ago and it feels good in my hands.
If I should avoid using this camera what would be the absolute minimum requirement for a camera system in 2015?
