This may seem like a stupid question but i was wondering if if B&H Photo Video was a reliable place to purchuse video equipment from. This is the first camera i have invested in and i can't afford to throw away $3000+. Thanks.

ABSOLUTELY. I've purchased from them my PD170, clapboards, batteries, blah blah blah.
