Is Anyone Familiar with SLATED?

I checked them out a bit since your post. They started at Sundance in 2012. There's not much buzz about them of late. No recent news articles, or press releases. It's either a really exclusive club by design, or it just never got the traction, it seems.

If a filmmaker has attachments and industry contacts or "bona fides" Slated
has put them together with investors. It's quite exclusive. But as trueindie
noted they haven't done much since in the last year or so.
