Insuring a day-long Shoot

I'm shooting a short film which mainly takes place in a courtroom. The court says I need insurance first. Can anyone point me in the direction of something reliable and inexpensive for insurance?

Also, it should be noted that:
- My actors will be volunteers.
- My equipment will be borrowed from a family member rather than rented.
- I only will need one-two days in the courtroom to shoot.

I really don't need an extensive insurance policy. I need something short term and cheap.
If such a thing doesn't exist, please help me get the next best thing.

I've heard this crop up in the states a number of times.

It is possible in the UK. I've put a few guys onto the company we're using, they run exactly what you're looking for, supplying you with Public Liability insurance, equipment cover etc on either a fixed plan or a day to day basis for whatever length of time you suggest you will be shooting across.

I tried searching around the last time this come up, I really hope someone local helps you out.

Hey Papertwin,

I'm looking to insure a weekend shoot in the UK - any chance you could give me the details of the company you use?
