Illustrator, Sculptor, and now Writer!

Howdy yall, I should probably introduce myself! Hi Im Brianna! Im 17 and Ive loved stories, art, and basically anything that gives a moral! It really doesnt matter what medium I use, as long as I tell a story, I feel as proud of myself as I do when I finish a sketch! Since I’m still young I don’t know shit yet, but I’m open to having a mentor (needed rather than open), Since I’m an okay writer (still in English Honors). Also Book Recommendations are an absolute must for my improvement. My aunt told me that when you are an artist you never stop learning!

As far as book recommendations, it depends on your taste in fiction, or non fiction as the case may be.

If you gave people here a list of books that you liked so far, I'm sure many of us could pitch in and offer suggestions of great novels and authors.

There's a world of great stuff out there to read, and every time you finish a good book, your world is a little wider and more interesting.

If you like stories with morals as a key element, you might find the television series "Star Trek: The Next Generation" runs surprisingly deep in it's exploration of morality concepts, in a fun and entertaining way that millions have enjoyed over the years. Most people don't know this, but it's actually based around a very old fiction series about a boat captain, and the main thread is about how a person's character in complex ethical situations is the most important thing about them.
