If You Were To Remake Batman

Interesting question...
I would instead want the film to be in the style of Year One. So, going by that:

Ryan Gosling/Armie Hammer as Bruce/Batman
Sean Penn/Bryan Cranston as Gordon
Samuel L. Jackson as "Big Al" (Alfred)

ryan gosling looks like a pansy thats like saying you would put danny dyer as batman too lol

If they were going to go for an older batman then I would go with....

John Hamm-Batman/Bruce Wayne
Bryan Cranston-Gordon
Joesph Gordon-Levitt-The Riddler
John Hurt-Alfred

I'd probably want to cast British people in the main roles...

OH WAIT.

EDIT: In all seriousness, I think they'll have to go with The Riddler for the reboot, just cos it's the obvious villain that Nolan didn't touch. Maybe someone like Benedict Cumberbatch in that role would be cool. And Ken Branagh as the new Gordon. Maybe a trendy, younger butler like Matthew Goode. I would like to see someone not too well known step in as batman, maybe someone like Luke Kirby, who has that slightly sinister edge.

I'd like to see Benedict Cumberbatch go away. He's weird looking.

Ha! Ray, I like it. A couple of your picks make me think you're being at least a little bit facetious, but I think a Black Batman could be cool.

If one were to go that route, I would want Denzel as Batman, but I think that role needs a little more youth, so I'm going to take Chiwetel Ejiofor.

For Alfred, I'll take James Earl Jones. I would've taken Morgan Freeman, but...

My commissioner is going to be Forrest Whitaker, and Jamie Foxx will play the Joker.

Love interest - Zoe Saldana. :)

Agreed

Bloody brilliant. Ejiofor is excellent, one of the most believable bad asses in the business. And Zoe Saldana............... that lovely tulip can come over to my flat and rehearse material anytime she wants. Door's open. Beer's in the fridge. Did you see her in Columbiana? Crap film, but her fighting and her acting is superb.

A black Batman. Cheers, mate. Brilliant. Patent that sh_t! I'll buy tix to the midnight screening!!! .......................but Hollywood doesn't have the balls.

I like your username. :)

Yep, I agree with your assessment of Columbiana, 100%. You're new here (welcome), so you probably aren't aware of something the old-timers know about me -- I'm what you might call an "Avatard". I like Saldana in pretty much anything she does, but I prefer that she be painted blue.

On a sidenote (I promise I'm not dropping names here, cuz I'm just a lowly bartender), one of the regulars at the hotel I work for is the head of Avon (for whom Saldana is a covergirl). Anyway, he knows her personally, and he says that she's totally a down-to-earth, well-rounded, nice girl. Even better. :)

And yes, Ejiofor is excellent. I got my first glimpse of his brilliance in Children of Men, but when he finally had the stage to himself, in Redbelt, that's when I knew how great he was.

Cheers!
