Ice Cream and a Movie

Not that I can afford it any more, much less a sandwich, but I used to enjoy eating ice cream while watching a movie. Vanillla Fudge or Cookies N' Cream were simply heaven sent for me.

Does anyone else have a passion for ice cream and a movie? If so, which flovor is your favotite?

Growing up in the wilds of Central New York (Oswego area), there is a local dairy chain called Byrne Dairy. Every winter they do a peppermint ice cream that is TO DIE FOR. Also their egg nog is the best I've ever had; childhood bias, perhaps, but it is REALLY good. If it's not winter, their strawberry (with good sized chunks of fruit) was always a favorite. Here in Pittsburgh there's a pretty amazing local shop (Dave & Andy's), and a root beer float (IBC) with their french vanilla is very nice for kicking back and watching a film!

For nationally available stuff, I'll go with Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia. Or ANYTHING strawberry.

to me there is no better way to watch a movie other than eating a big pizza from dominos. Pepperoni and bacon :pop:

A movie is always better with a Coca Cola. Used to eat ice cream while watching TGIF (i.e., boy meets world, Sabrina, Full House, etc) when I was a young kid! Good times.

Ben & Jerrys "Phish Food". Awesome! It's quite often on offer in my local shop, half price. That's dangerous! I'll happily buy three tubs, but then they're be gone within a week! I should be a lot bigger than I am!

If we're going that route, frozen Jack and Coke (it's like an Icee with a kick). Yes, they serve booze at pretty muck all of the local megaplexs here.

Vodka and a friend, is the best thing to watch a movie.

Bailys is also very good.

Been there done that with myself and 2 people. We polished off 2 bottles of Vodka with one container of orange juice before we went out into a snow blizard and walked to a local movie theater and saw Close Encounters Of The Third Kind and never felt the cold. I even argued with the booth cashier when she tried to give me change when I hand her $20. My friend told me to keep the change.

Then, when I had to go for job training around New Year's, I bought a bottle of TGIF's whiskey and eggnog mix and watched movies on HBO until I finished the bottle and went to bed and slept off the booze.

Besides ice cream, pizza and a movie are great too.
