earlier this year i remember seeing a trailer for a film that i believe is from china or japan. it was in a film festival in new york (dont remember which one) and it was something about a kid who just locked himself in this apartment or something and just wanted to live alone. and i think it was also a comment on the alienated youth in that region (china or whatever)

i know that this is a pretty vague description, but if anyone has any guesses as to what movie i might be talking about, it would help.
