How Do You Import Your DSLR Footage?

Do you plug your camera in a Firewire port, USB 3?

Or, do you remove your memory cards and plug them into USB 2 / 3 card readers?

I've been using a USB 2 card reader so far. Companies like US Robotics are making USB 3 card readers now. I am thinking of investing in one to import HD Video footage faster.

From what I am reading in the owner's manual, I can also attach a Firewire cable to the camera to interface it with the computer as well.

I use cardreaders, so I don't have the hassle with cameras on my desk.

In my experience a good card reader can be significantly faster than using the camera. If you're using large cards it's definitely worth it to get the fastest reader available.

Good point.

Although 64 Gig memory cards are available, Canon recommends using no larger than 32 Gig memory cards for best results. So, I have only bought 2 32 Gig cards so far.
