Hi my name is Daniel and I have been lurking around here for a while.

I'm from a small island in the Baltic Sea that is a autonomous region of finland.

I have absolutely no background in directing, producing, writing or anything that has to do with film.

But two years ago I jumped of school (Computer Engineer) to start working and get money for film equipment. My next step is to go to film school next autumn.

Personally I want to do directing and writing.
I'm currently writing a short for next years local film festival, and a longer one for the future.

So I would like to say that I'm greatful that this community exists and that I have learned a lot while I have been lurking in the shadows.

Today I'm getting my Canon 600D on the mail so it'll be a whole weekend in the wilderness shooting a short "documentery" of a cavesystem near where I live. :D
