Hello everybody,my name is Sam. Actually I saw this forum (indie talk) about filmmaker thing. So I just think this is the right place I could ask about couple things.
First of all, I'm from Indonesia, and I'm 24th years old. I graduated from my University took Graphic Design as my major degree, and just realized that I got passion in Video. And I have a few plan to took a double degree (BFA) in Film at New York film Academy as a director. Do you have any suggestion or recommendation? I think about it a lot,because I will take a big step which is I won't be back to Indonesia for good. I just scared I can't be no one if I go to Unites States.
At the moment I'm still working as a freelance for Music Video as Assistant Director. I see film industry in Indonesia can't be so productive then hollywood industry. I don't know anything about world out there. So I hope you can share some information about anything i would get to help continue my study.
