Hi everyone.
I joined recently, although I'm not sure if it was yesterday or before that... My name is Sheena; I live in Canada (Manitoba) and I've only very recently become fascinated by the Indie side of film, now finding myself wanting to take a crack at short film-making. I currently know the absolute minimum about filming (if even that) so I've joined to see how those of you already well-versed in the art of film-making function; I also hope to learn a few things as a result of my membership.
I have been working on a script, taking some tips from a friend who has been in University for a couple of years learning about film, and I'm quite fond of it, which is always a good thing. In the Fall, I will take a theatre class. I'm just contemplating whether I should choose performing, which has been somewhat of a silented passion for quite some time, or delve into this new-found love. I have too full of a course load to do both, but we'll see. Things will work out. Either way, I do plan on making my script into a short film regardless of my talent or the entire quality.
I know there were some other things that I wanted to say about myself (because talking about myself is one of my favourite past times) but I don't remember. I just wanted to say 'hello' and... I'll be seeing you all around I suppose!
