My name is Dan and have just started taking off in the movie making realm: I have finally completed my directorial debut as a (novice) Documentary film maker. It is centered around the complete McNeil Island Correctional Center closing, that took place March 3 2011. It features Governor Gregoire, Senators, Secretary of DOC Prisons, etc. I lived on the island from 64-80...that is how i gained access to this event and was allowed front row center along with the News media.
I am humbled to be among you guys/gals who share in the craft. I am merely starting out with a Sony DCR-SX44 and edit via Adobe Premiere Elements. The adrenaline surge is better than any substance from the past I've tried.
