Hello from a drummer who also writes code

Hey everyone,


Just wanted to introduce myself - I’m a drummer and software engineer based in NYC. I’ve been playing drums for years, mostly rock and metal, but I’ve always been into the technical side of things - recording, experimenting with gear, and building tools when the existing ones don’t quite cut it.


I’m currently developing something for musicians, and I’d really appreciate input from the community - nothing beats real-world testing and hearing how people actually use things.


Looking forward to connecting with folks here, hearing how others approach their projects, and learning from the community.

Thanks! I’m a web developer. With my current project, I’m focusing on standard technologies - PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS - to ensure backward compatibility and keep it system-agnostic.

It’s called MARS, a cross-platform multitrack recorder built to run on any OS or device and stay reliable for archiving. It’s open source, so anyone can modify it.

We’re in late-stage development and looking for beta testers - mars-audio.com
