Has anybody heard of Kinoflix?

UPDATE
I would like to apologize to the members of this forum. I am the founder of Kinoflix and
Wasn't aware that you can promote within the forum. Kinoflix will be a platform where independent
film producers can showcase their short films. HD & 3D streaming will be available. You may follow our startup on Twitter @kinoflix

Moved to Promotion.

You are obviously connected.

:welcome:

Is it that obvious ? lol

It is nice to know we are allowed to promote on this forum. I plan to advertise here with a banner as we get closer to our beta launch :)

Sure, knowledge is power, even if it's promotion :)

More information regarding Kinoflix

Hello everyone!

I would like to introduce everyone to the startup i am currently developing. Kinoflix.com will be a platform for independent film producers to showcase their short films. These films must be no longer than 15 minutes and no shorter than 4 minutes. Kinoflix will provide advanced streaming platforms such as HD and 3D. It is our plan to be accessible via Google TV once beta is finished. There will also be limited elements of social networking within the Kinoflix network. Each producer will have their own personal profile, where they will be able to advertise their studio. Standard members will be able to comment on the short films like they watch. Kinoflix intends to promote itself through well written and distributed press releases, which will focus on film related media outlets in North America, Europe and Australia.

follow us on twitter @kinoflix

:)

Sounds interesting. How does KinoFlix differentiate or brand itself from google.tv itself, if that's where the content is?

That is something we are going to find out soon :)

Our website should be completed within a month. Hopefully we will know by then. For now we need to make sure that we design Kinoflix in accordance to the requirements of Google TV. I am looking forward to the beta launch which is scheduled sometime mid to late summer. July is our target month.:)

I'm confused. First you stumble upon this site information somehow:

I am a short film producer and ran across a soon to be launched startup called Kinoflix. Supposedly they will be streaming short films under 15 minutes. They will Have HD and 3D streaming. Their website is not up yet. They have a twitter page(@kinoflix) which i am following.

Then you use "we", indicating you're working with the site:

It is nice to know we are allowed to promote on this forum. I plan to advertise here with a banner as we get closer to our beta launch

And now you're the official creator of the site?:

I would like to introduce everyone to the startup i am currently developing.

Mmmm, I don't know, man.

Hello everyone!

Now that's the kind of post I respond to and respect.

Your first post treats people as if they are stupid. As if
they are not intuitive enough to see through such an
obvious, hackneyed marketing ploy. This one treats
filmmakers as intelligent people. Makers of short films,
too, are starting up - we appreciate other startups. I
hope as you post on other forums you keep this in mind.

First impressions are important. Filmmakers love opportunities
to show their movies. We don't need these "Look what I
found!" and "Has anyone heard of..." insults. Your second
pitch is a good one. Makes me want to check it out.

I am sorry about the confusion everybody :)

I wasn't aware of the guidlines of this forum. Most forums don't allow promoting unless you advertise. I hope you can look past my mistake.

We're promotion friendly as long as it's in the right place :D

Keep us posted.
