Hello,
My name is Marta; I write and act and want to go into production. I was born in Poland and currently reside in the US, Santa Barbara. So far I know the most about screenwriting, I made it a point to practice writing, read (almost) all there is to read on the topic and read screenplays whenever I have time. I am writing a few screenplays at a moment with a thought of writing a vehicle for myself, producing/co-producing some of them and/or having some produced by somebody else. I just recently started studying production and hopefully will start practicing the art soon
. My greatest love is acting for the camera, I love how sensitive the eye of the camera is. I am also slowly getting a grip on directing although I am not sure if I ever go into it.
I feel the most comfortable writing/acting in dramas and romantic comedies. At present I am developing and idea for a thriller with a 'Psycho' potential though, too.
I joined this forum to connect with the community and to have some questions answered by those with more experience.
