Hey everyone, my name's Nicole, I'm from Saskatchewan, Canada, I'm 22 and I'm in my second year of animation studies. I study at the Redhouse College of Animation here in Saskatoon, with one year to go. I'm in the process of learning Flash animation, 3D animation and production and classical animation, the later being my favorite and strongest area.
I've done a few short ani-matic films, dozens of short animations which will eventually be composited into a film reel, and for my last year of studies, will be making a 2-3 minute short film which will be written, directed, animated, and colored by myself which I'm totally stoked on. I am currently involved in a contest with 8 other students are competing for a 10 second spot representing the Wilson's Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence that will be shown in an international market. Its basically a 10 second 3D commercial which is completely developed my myself and a fellow classmate, done in Autodesk Maya.
Great to finally find a decent forum to share ideas with like minded individuals and have some fun conversations!
