First colour movie found to be in 1901

That's really ingenious, how that was done. I wonder how much more film like that there is, or if it was just the one guy with a lone prototype.
 
from what i read, it was just the one guy with a prototype, that they didn't think would amount to anything..

the project split off, and later on another way to make colour movies came to light...
 
I liked the fringing on the edges of motion. This would be a really easy effect to recreate in an NLE, Shake/Nuke, Blender or AE.
