Do you have a favorite Bale performance?

So many unforgettable performances - The Fighter, American Psycho, Bruce Wayne...
One movie that isn't mentioned here is SHAFT and i thought Bale was the best part of the movie

I think Christian Bale is one of the best actors working today, and American Psycho is amazing.
But my personal favorite is a bit off the beaten path: I love what he did as Dick Cheney in "Vice"

Agreed, though I like American Psycho over Vice. He really brought a lot of humor and energy to the part. No one ever mentions The Big Short for some reason. It was a really solid performance.

I love that movie! And I love his performance in it. I don't think the movie itself gets nearly enough credit/attention/respect.

I have to say i think my favourite performance is him in the batman movies, there hard to beat such great films
