EDITING TROUBLE !!!!!

hey whats up indie talk is me again i know in the past that i have been unclear in my posts but i will try now and in the future to get the point of my problem and make this easier on all of this anyway i have started to edit my first film i find it increasingly difficult i have a scene that my actor walks out of a hallway and leans on a wall he keeps getting off his mark inbetween takes now i did a reverse shot of the back of him and was wondering if i cut freeze fram that for 3 seconds to conceal the error and then switch to a close up front shot to show he is looking at something there hope thats clear enough all help is appreciated and also would more sound link my shots better let me know

As far as the problem you're having is concerned, we'd really have to see an example to access the situation properly.

A still-frame will look like a very obvious still-frame, even from the back.

Here's a question that editors love to ask: "Just how important is that line of dialogue?".

Sometimes ya gotta make the tough edits. :(
