Hey all!
this was a final project for a film editing class.

it's the third film i've ever made,

and since my actors/actresses cancelled at the last minute,
I had to improvise the entire film and act myself in it.

For many of the takes I didn't even have a camera operator because of this.

I still am learning a ton, and have a lot to learn, and this is a film I made by myself in one day.

Constructive Criticism is much appreciated!

You must get a tripod. There was a lot of shakey cam.

I would think the VO isn't necessary. There are other ways you could have told us what you said. Also, the film isn't silent, with a VO.

I don't know what you're limited to, as far as music goes, but there is a lot of classical music. You could use several different pieces to help with whatever feeling you're trying to get across.

Some of the cuts seemed a little long. Like @ 1:37 where the guy is panhandling. It doesn't cut from that for another 20 seconds. Feels a bit long, to watch a guy begging.

I enjoyed it. I "got" what you were trying to get across and that's what counts right? Thanks for sharing
