I first saw "Eraserhead" at a midnight screening in January 1978.
"Blue Velvet" is one of my favorite films of all time.
I worked three days on "Wild at Heart"
"Dune" is a terrible movie that I really, truly love.

Anyway, his cause of death were due to heart issues.

He didn't have "heart issues" according to what i've read - you make it sound like he suffered from CAD or blood clots

He had COPD so extreme he couldn't safely leave his house, and trying to flee the wildfires with all the air pollution and COPD induced a heart attack in an otherwise healthy heart

Saturday I saw Dune at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood. It was a packed house.
Fantastic to see it on a big screen with an audience. That movie is a glorious mess.
