crackheads selling tripods without camea plates

When I first got hooked on film making, I wasted one afternoon going to see a great deal on a tripod, when I got there it had no camera plate. As Im always browsing craigslist I keep seeing similar items, this last one even states NO CAMERA PLATE and seller still expects to sell it for $28! Im not talking about nice sticks and a monfroto head, but those cheap SEARS specials where the head is permanently attached, etc.

Dont know why I bring this to your attention, other than just to share a laugh..
 
They probably left it attached to the camera when they sold it :lol:
 
I'm a bit under the weather here at work, feeling miserable - thanks wheat, I really needed that laugh. My coworkers are prairie dogging all over the place to see who's just gone stark, raving mad.
