Im gonna make a series of Tutorials in AVI (in the coming days).. they will be 15fps with 800x600 full frame so you can see things in detail. but it will be done in 16 bit so there is a little color bleeding.
The software Im using is 3D Studio Max r6. You can actually download a trial version from Discreet.com
http://www4.discreet.com/3dsmax/index7.php#
its 30 days and may limit your ability to import max files but I believe its a full functional software that only becomes crippled at the end of the 30 days. I heard by some that the software keeps running afterwards. I know Maya offers a trial (Or did) that is on going. Not for use for commercial work of course.
If you have skills in 3dsmax or MAYA or lightwave please feel free to make tutorials and post them in this thread. I prefer avi format but you can link or make a visual text/jpg tut for this thread.
You will need a CoDec to view my Tutorials. the CoDec is Camtasia's TSCC codec. its free to download. also if you like, Camtasia also has a free 30 day fully functional trial (but i think its watermarked) which has the TSCC built into it.
to get the trial click to download.

to get just the codec to view my tuts in Windows Media Player go click this to download.

I dont believe WinAmp plays TCSS codecs but you can try.
