Are there any good digital B+W features/directors?

Sin City has an interesting look... but there's something I don't like about the frame rate or the shutter speed. I'm not sure what it is. I think it was shot before progressive scan came out. It'd look better with a recent cam.

Checking out Tetro now. Some comments are saying it's a masterpiece.

Got any trailers, Zteve?

I watched the trailer for Tetro and was kind of dissapointed. I love FFC, but it had a kind of cheap look to it. It just looked like someone shot in digital and slapped a greyscale on it. There was no contrast, grain, or anything visually stimulating.

Some of the shots were OK, but it didn't seem like a genuine exploration of the field of B+W Digi.

Respect to FFC for being an innovator and a visionary, anyway.
