In general DVD boxsets are very preferable because of their wide array of desirable bonus features that I often find quite interesting.
No cable, no dish.
I hope that DVD never goes away.
I get a little of both worlds by watching everything on either Hulu Plus or Netflix streaming. No commercials and I can watch an entire series over the course of a week or two (which I've done with an embarrassing number of shows). Don't get the bonus features, though.
I want to peruse shelves full of colorful boxes and be surprised by what I find there.
Guess that makes me a dinosaur. So be it.
