I used to be an aspiring screenwriter, but the more I found out about the way hollywood treats writers I began to feel beat down. I hadn't even started! Recently I decided to derail my self pity train and take charge of my idea. I want to be a writer/director and bring my own work to life. But there's one catch: I don't how. I'm here to learn and get advice.
 
You've definitely come to the right place! There are no dumb questions here, and even if it's been answered 100 times before, you won't get beat down with statements like "check X thread it's been covered', so no fears. And welcome to the boards!
