I have to admit, I had never really watched any Cassavetes, so last night I picked up A Woman Under the Influence. All I can say is my mind is blown. Gena Rowlands, incredible, Peter Falk, unbelieveable. The dialogue... Off the charts great. His style of endlessly long follow shots, and racking focus all over the room from character to character, never seen anything like it. Now I realize why he may be one of the two or three great American filmmakers.

If you have never seen it, watch it ASAP.
