:) , first is we here to helping each other or arguing each other on what is physical and what's not. second i only says DVD and Blu-rays will be gone. i even suggest to @indiemediaROCKS to sell his film on flash drive. so set aside argument and lets make some good films. :)

frame rate is not fixed, its a debatable topics, in old days when all projectors are film projectors, they found on 24Fps sound & film(Video) sync together most accurately. But Now when most of projectors are digital it is possible to play higher frame rate by upgrating firmware of projectors...

Adobe Premiere For me For you, You better know what tool works for you, try all of them. BUT if you don't like iMovie then its more likely possible that you would not like iMovie's cousin brother also ;)

Agreed with Sweetie Digital distribution is growing and physical media is shrinking in two years times you will not find any working DVD writer to write a DVD. Apple (MAC Pro) also dumps that crap technology. instead offer your costumers film in a cheap flash drive. Digital is future | Good...

if you are using Adobe Audition for your audio work just send hole sequence to it. just search on google for how to do it. otherwise use AAF or OMF

make 3 versions of it 1 - DPX sequence with a separate wav file for audio. ---- this one for your screening, when you go for a screening in a hall on digital projector it requires DCP and to make DCP they ask you a DPX with a separate wav (Audio), its a very heavy file and take lots of space...
