    Kubrick is way better than Nolan

    I'm hearing lots of people say that Nolan is the new Kubrick. To be honest Inception was good but i thought sometimes it was overdone, and i enjoyed Memento better. To call him the new Kubrick though is just ridiculous.

    Not in particular, i guess i would just like to see how someone with a good knowledge of Film Theory would analyse it. Sometimes i feel like i don't know where to start. I'd like to hear what other people thought.

    Am I too old.

    Haha thanks guys, basically I feel like I should have had a bigger interest in this throughout school, I feel like i am too old to be a beginner at something like this. Most people my age have finished there degree's, have their qualifications and starting there careers.

    Well, there isn't much really, but I don't have much funds. However i have access to HD camera's i can borrow from my university. However one day i would really like to learn how to cut and edit film, and shoot in 35mm etc. I don't know how to gain any expirence like that.
