First off, I want to say it's awesome that you're trying to keep the HP movement alive. And it looks like you are probably pretty young. There are some problems I saw with story and editing. STORY -how are muggles going to stand a chance against the wizarding world? -if they can apperate, why...

    Canon 5D vrs Canon 7D

I'm not for sure on this, but... I believe the 5D may have more dynamic range and color depth The 7D can film 60fps while the 5D cannot That's all I can think of.. but you could definitely make it work in post

Question for those who know cameras.

I got an offer to trade for a 7D and $700 cash tomorrow. If everything is cool, I'm going to do it! Again, thanks for your input guys!

Question for those who know cameras.

I have someone who is willing to pay $1,800 (which is what I paid). He said he would need some time to round up cash. I still have it in the market though! Hoping to get this all done soon! Thanks for your input everyone.

Question for those who know cameras.

I totally understand I'm loosing some information intake. I do someday want to get a camera such as the Panasonic AF-100. But for now I feel the 7D will give me what I'm looking for in a camera within my budget. Thanks for those links, I will be taking a look at these.

Question for those who know cameras.

I planned on getting a vintage lens for around $80-150 with an adapter. I have seen follow focus and shoulder rig deals for $300. That's about $500. So if I sell for at least $1800 I should be able to do that. Full frame is great for photography, and the no crop factor is pretty...

Question for those who know cameras.

Cracker Funk - I do find myself interested in photography. I wouldn't mind doing that on the side. Also, I had the chance to use a monitor a few weeks ago and it was pretty sa-weet.

Question for those who know cameras.

Right, I was thinking that and the crop factor would be the main differences I would notice. I'm hoping to get $1800-2000 for my 5D and I have been seeing some 7Ds on Craigslist for $1000-1300. Given those estimates that leaves me $500-1000 for other gear (I would go for a lens/follow focus first)

Question for those who know cameras.

Hi everyone. I own a Canon 5D Mk II. I'm thinking of selling it, and using the money towards a Canon 7D setup. Here's why: -I have no lens (I am lucky enough to have a photographer girlfriend who is so kind as to loan me hers) if I do this, I could use left over money for a lens or 2...

I have gotten that note from others as well. I do plan on going in and fixing it up a bit. *that's one of the things to fix* Anything seem like it didn't belong? or edits that could be better?

I do plan on trying to get some more entries made! I found another website called Tongal that I like as well. It has phases, and you can win a budget to produce your video. The way its set up you don't have to make a video unless you're going to get paid. Poptent will help with my reel...

This was all done in about two weeks. I felt really rushed actually, I had one more shot planned out but couldn't lock down the location. As far as the lighting for the outdoor shot and sound issues, I totally agree. I think for most of the poptent contests you get about a month. :P...

Better acting vs. better shooting takes.

Have your blocking staged out, and your composition set up beforehand and you will not have to deal with this problem :P
