That's a good point. Is there possibly a directory somewhere on the net that could help me find similar laboratories? EDIT Been looking through Kodak's directory -- for some reason, 16mm B&W Reversal won't show up as a transferable medium for any of the labs in their listings.

I would appreciate any information on what you could consider to be "budget-friendly" means of getting footage shot on 16mm into the computer for editing on, say, Final Cut Pro (this is with audio sync-up for dialogue and other necessary sounds in mind).

What digital audio recorder (and with what microphone) would you recommend for this (to go through Telecine and to be edited and synced on Final Cut Pro)? Regardless of budget.

Does anyone know of any good analog tape recorders with timecode compatibility? (This is to match the audio to the video in Telecine for a 16mm-shot film)

@ ZenSteve The camera might have come with some installation software, but that's really out of the question now seeing as we've had this thing forever -- with the two things we've been able to keep up with being the charger and the camera itself. @ Will Vincent I don't think it's a FireWire...
