I talked to someone at the apple store the other day and they simply said that thunderbolt has consistent data transfer rates and they do not compete for speed when you have multiple thunderbolts transfers going.
I am working on a multi-cultural video series and I am wondering what are the best places to post ads for casting calls for actors and extras. I am looking for volunteer participation at the beginning until the series starts to create revenue. I was told of places such as productionhub.com but...
Hey guys. I am putting together a multi-cultural video series that shows the lives of people from around the world and events that happen around the globe. It will be a video series with actors that will go straight to YouTube, for numerous reasons.
I just got into learning all the equipment...
How does the show look on TV in terms of quality? I am wondering if BMC can replicate the look of let's say a RED camera or a Canon c300. Sometimes it's hard to see everything on youtube.

Thank you for your reply. So what do these cables hook up to? In my experience you can get an excellent shot with a Blackmagic camera or a Canon video camera along with a camera stabilizer or other rig setup. I'm just trying to see how one can get by filming great looking scenes without all...
Hey guys. I guess I should have said which equipment is necessary to get that non-amature look. And as per the film look I am taking about 24fps.
Would you say it is post-production or the camera that makes each movie look a little different in overall tone?
Thank you for your reply. I also agree that Canon cameras feel like they were designed with the filmmaker in mind. Have you ever tried the Canon c300 and the c500? I've seen test footage done on the Canon c300 and it's simply amazing.
I've used tripod. various kinds but they never offered that floating feel that camera stabilizers provide. I have seen lot's of test footage and know that it is the look that I want instead of tripods that have to remain in a stationary position.
Any recommendations for camera stabilizers...
