I have been trying to get a smooth 1000fps using premiere cs4. I know there are frame blending plugins such as Twixtor, but is there a way to work around it with stock effects found in AE or PR? I was thinking of lighting the hell out of my shot, and ramping the shutter speed, then just slowing...
hmmm color temperature is an awesome, albeit confusing, thing to me. There are so many different solutions to lighting problems....do you white balance to something orange to give you a green hue (if you're in a tungsten environment....(I think?) ) or would you just gel the lights? gelling the...
It's just that: If there was one, two, or three pieces of gear you could have on a Christmas list, what would they be?
1. Arriflex
2. underwater housings.
3. Phantom.

I'm beginning an edit using Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, and the footage was shot on a DSLR 550d. My question is, what codec do I need to use in order to convert my footage to an editable file?
I work on PC, I have Mpeg streamclip, but what's the best solution?
...other than buying CS5...
It's true...I should mention it took me a while to get that setup, and it's one that worked for me.
I guess it comes down to price tag, and personal preference. I thought it was a good investment IMO.
