"Bourne Identity" is a pretty big omission, in my opinion, but at least it was mentioned. There's simply no excuse, however, for leaving out "Death Proof". Best chase scene EVER.
Otherwise, this is a pretty good list. By the way, does it have to be a car? Cuz "Return of the Jedi" comes to mind.

Every chase in the French Connection was great! The opening with Gene Hackman in a Santa Claus outfit!? awesome.
The one at the start of Casino Royale stands out.

I thought that the escape from the Death Star in "Star Wars" was a pretty good chase scene, although I guess technically it's a battle scene. And how about the Semi/motorcycle chase in "Terminator 2"?
The parkour chase scene? It's brilliant, but I just wanted to see more of the stunts and fewer fast cuts… it felt like it'd been edited by someone who hates epileptics.
The list is kind of weak... ET?? come on.. Matrix's chase was alright, but too much CGI, imho..

Two people might not think of..
#1 is For Your Eyes Only... the whole scene where 007 is on skies, being chased by w motorcycles with guns as Bond goes on a bobsled track with a boblsed team is in front.. then bond then... a guy on a motorcycle!!! NO CGI all 100% real
#2 is Octopussy.. the whole scene of trying to get to the circus to defuse the bomb is amazing! The editing is amazing.
